I found a great article about nutrition fads today. It brought up some of the same things I wanted to podcast about. So I just added some thoughts that flowed following reading a blog post about nutrition by Dr. Ann Miller. Read the article, then listen to my podcast.
In the blog post, Dr. Miller talks about several nutrition topics including juicing, fasting, and the old and unfounded idea of drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I talked about this in my podcast, covering the eight glasses of water issue, my wish to obtain a Vitamix someday, and much more. While researching the water drinking theories, I found a great article that sums up a lot of what I already believe (and continue to believe). It’s at the University of Michigan website and I’ll share it for you here. It states how much water to drink, once and for all.
